Auditability, defined by a user's ability to self-validate transactions, reveals major technological gaps. While Bitcoin remains the most accessible with limited hardware requirements, allowing individuals to operate a node at low cost, Solana is characterized by a very high barrier to entry. Its storage and computing power requirements necessitate investments totaling tens of thousands of dollars, effectively restricting network verification to professional entities.
