This feature radically transforms the user experience by translating raw smart contract data into perfectly readable information, such as token types, exact amounts, and destination addresses. Based on the ERC-7730 open standard, this decoding mechanism ensures total transparency at the critical moment of physical validation on the device. The update covers a wide range of devices, including the Trezor Safe 3, 5, 7, and Model T models, while natively integrating leading market protocols such as Lido, Aave, 1inch, or Tether.

This initiative is part of a broader drive to standardize security across the crypto industry. By maintaining an open source approach, the technological foundation allows for continuous auditing by the community, ensuring the integrity of the decoding process. The goal is to eliminate the leap of faith that previously accompanied every interaction with a decentralized application. However, this advancement does not entirely replace human vigilance. If a specific contract is not yet listed in the trusted registry, the system reverts to the classic warning, serving as a reminder that absolute protection remains a constant challenge against attackers with increasingly sophisticated methods.

Alongside these security efforts, the disclosure of a data breach extension at its logistics provider, ShipMonk, has cast a shadow over the progress. Approximately 67,000 additional customers, primarily located in the United States and Europe, have had their personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers) compromised, bringing the total to over 80,000 potential victims. Although private keys and recovery phrases remain strictly untouched, this logistical vulnerability exposes users to targeted phishing campaigns, underscoring that an investor's security depends on a chain where every link, even external ones, must be protected.
